A guy named Doug sits alone at the bar in his local pub. He is alone because there are no other customers and the bartender has temporarily disappeared into the back room.
“Nice tie buddy,” a voice says, suddenly startling Doug. Doug looks around the room, but sees no one around.
“You look sharp with that haircut,” says another voice. Again, Doug looks around the room and sees no one.
When the bartender finally comes back, Doug immediately tells him about the voices that he heard in the pub.
“Oh, that’s just the peanuts,” said the bartender, “They’re complimentary.”
