Re: Don't only human beings have a soul?

:dontknow: Nobody knows for sure. It all depends on your beliefs, but whether you believe organisms have a soul or not you cannot question the fact that life is life , plain and simple. If we took out the soul part there would still be life. Even if people think that killing animals is justified bec...

Tried being vegan..didn't go as planned...

Well I had an idea to try to go vegan for at least one month. Let's just say that it didn't last a week..yeah that's right ONE week! You see, I was the only one in my family and my parents went bonkers at it. I could practically FEEL the worry coming off them in waves (which is about my weight, that...

I had a teacher who told me she was vegetarian. Then she got pregnant and didn't stay vegetarian very long after that.

Re: Difference between fruits and vegetables?

Many fruits grow on trees, but some are also vines. Vegetables do NOT grow on trees (if there is a vegetable tree, please let me know :D ), they are mostly roots (carrots, onions), or grow on vines (squash, pumpkin), and other "things". Like peas and corn(though corn is more grainy it's st...

Re: Easy Fast Weight Loss Ideas!

People should keep in mind that loosing too mush weight too fast is unhealthy, especially if they are trying to loose in unhealthy ways. For example, not eating! :bounce:

I've heard that tomatoes are fruits, but are sometimes thought to be vegetables because they are most often eaten with vegetables.

Re: I am vegan because I am Christian.

Religion has a lot to do with morality and personal opinions. I wonder "how would Jesus do this meat eating thing " or "What would Jesus do"? I wouldn't know a whole lot, but I can bet that I know a bit. For the rest I'll just have to be open-minded.

Re: Want to see the #1 hypocrite on the internet?

She is a hypocrite, but so was I. Actually many people are at some point or another, it's human nature (or pretty close to it). It's like a very bad habit and the saying "Old habits die hard" is true. Unfortunately. I always knew that animals were abused badly in my subconscious, but I had...

Wow!...just wow! OK..*gag*. I'm sorry but I'm just speechless! I agree with what animalmagick said, To question if you should even consider fighting for pro-bestialty makes a mockery of all animal rights activists! Well, there are reasons for it being illegal. Here's one, animals have their own dise...

Re: I hope I can be worth 15 seconds of your time,

I think it's OK to talk about the treatment of animals in slaughter houses, but it's NOT cool to do it obnoxiously. We should respect other people's opinions even if we don't agree, because that can make them prejudiced against vegans/vegetarians.

I've recently become a vegan but I haven't gotten the gist of what to eat. Is there anything specific that I should?
