Re: Easy Vegan Eating in Cusco

Hey thanks so much for this!! My wife and I are planning to visit in April I think but were worried about our diet. We've heard rumours that Machu Picchu will close down in a few years because of sheer number of people visiting and the wear on the track!!

Re: Who drinks a glass of wine as a health supplement?

I personally don't drink at all as I don't enjoy it. I don't like the taste nor the buzz or after feeling. This is interesting though, however I would just eat grapes, fruits and other foods to supplement.

Re: Costa

So many places like Costa here in the UK like Pret A Manger etc have vegan options. Over the past 12 months, there has been a massive boom here!

Re: Vegan meal planning

i usually mix up lots of beans with potatoes for carbs as you'll need for energy, and you can always buy wraps and make them too.

Re: newbie to being vegan

My advice to everyone going vegan is to do it slowly. Phase out one non vegan item every week or when you have found a suitable replacement. Do it incrementally at your pace, and remember this is not a race. Progress is better than no progress... I have been a vegetarian my entire life (34 years) an...

Re: New to veganism

The best advice I can give is to do it slowly and introduce veganism incrementally. Find vegan products one at a time to replace your non-vegan products. I hope that helps :)

Re: Vegan Hiking Boots

Hey wow no way me too! I also have been slowly phasing out leather goods etc for vegan friendly ones since going vegan last year. However the more I shop as a conscious consumer the more I want to purchase ethically made goods. I've been buying from this website recently, not sure about hiking boots...

Re: veg diet and athletic performance

It's quite an open question... I have been a vegetarian for 33 years and vegan for 1. I have been weight training for hypertrophy for 4 years now and since going vegan, I can't say I have noticed any difference in my body. I have generally always felt very good in terms of conditioning, vascular, st...

Woah I did not know that! More and more prominent or well know figures are going vegan! What a platform to be promoting veganism!
