Re: How to get rid of dry skin and face bloat?

Hey, I would go see your Dr first and get it checked out. A quick temporary fix for dry skin is to moisturise twice a day and maybe not use soap which is causing the skin to dry further, but only until you have seen your Dr!

Re: Vegan Shoes

Hey I've never heard of PAYLESS but there are a few companies out there that are 100% vegan, you just need to do a bit of searching and emailing. If you guys are still looking for vegan shoes that do not use glues that contain animals, try http://www.veenofs.com. I know this because I have purchased...

Re: Vegan Clothing

What can you recommend to wear for a vegan especially in cold climate? Hello Sergio. There are lots of brands out there now that have vegan jackets etc that are warm and do not contain down. Some of them are super expensive but that depends on how cold it gets! I've purchased hoodies from here befo...

Re: Difference between fruits and vegetables?

I was taught in school that all fruits had seeds so a tomato is classified as a fruit!

Re: Easy Vegan Eating in Cusco

Hey thanks so much for this!! My wife and I are planning to visit in April I think but were worried about our diet. We've heard rumours that Machu Picchu will close down in a few years because of sheer number of people visiting and the wear on the track!!

Re: Who drinks a glass of wine as a health supplement?

I personally don't drink at all as I don't enjoy it. I don't like the taste nor the buzz or after feeling. This is interesting though, however I would just eat grapes, fruits and other foods to supplement.

So many places like Costa here in the UK like Pret A Manger etc have vegan options. Over the past 12 months, there has been a massive boom here!

i usually mix up lots of beans with potatoes for carbs as you'll need for energy, and you can always buy wraps and make them too.

Re: newbie to being vegan

My advice to everyone going vegan is to do it slowly. Phase out one non vegan item every week or when you have found a suitable replacement. Do it incrementally at your pace, and remember this is not a race. Progress is better than no progress... I have been a vegetarian my entire life (34 years) an...

Re: New to veganism

The best advice I can give is to do it slowly and introduce veganism incrementally. Find vegan products one at a time to replace your non-vegan products. I hope that helps :)

Re: Vegan Hiking Boots

Hey wow no way me too! I also have been slowly phasing out leather goods etc for vegan friendly ones since going vegan last year. However the more I shop as a conscious consumer the more I want to purchase ethically made goods. I've been buying from this website recently, not sure about hiking boots...

Re: veg diet and athletic performance

It's quite an open question... I have been a vegetarian for 33 years and vegan for 1. I have been weight training for hypertrophy for 4 years now and since going vegan, I can't say I have noticed any difference in my body. I have generally always felt very good in terms of conditioning, vascular, st...
