Looking something else up on the subject, there is a theory that humans are cucinivores (cucinare meaning to cook ), so this kind of adaptation could be food for thought, as well (perhaps eating raw plant food influences allergic reactions, somehow, above and beyond the usual pathogenesis to do with...

Re: Are there vegans with allergy to ragweed pollen?

Yeah, good luck with that, maybe sulforaphane is a keeper (the irony with brassicas is that they tend to soak up more heavy metals than other plants, so I don't necessarily want every "nutrient" to be preserved—mostly something I read about mustard greens though). Increasing raw food expos...

Potassium chloride is kind of salty, yet has a bitter aftertaste by itself, and blends with sodium salt to neutralize that. It is a common ingredient in sports drinks, for electrolytes (which facilitate rehydration when combined with sugar and water).

Funny, I decided to skip the alcoholic beverage and have a mix of grape juices (in a wine glass for something fancy), but now this juice is magically turning into sparkling wine on me. By the way, I didn't find that reusing the olive oil was practical, it didn't even keep well refrigerated after frying some olives in it. Using it instead for something like bread crumbs that soak it up, and adding garlic to them gives me a simple kind of garlic bread to toast in the pan though.
