If the human race is going to survive into the future, then we're going to have to learn to eat less meat --- if we d...

Re: Check Out These Websites

Today, many food products which are sold from the shelves of mainstream grocery stores contain high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). Ingredients such as glucose/fructose and dextrose usually consist of this. HFCS is processed from genetically modified (GM) corn, the same corn that is mostly used as feed ...

I knew a woman many years ago who was "vegan", but lived primarily on potato chips, soda pop, pastries and coffee. She was not healthy. I'm a vegan. Occasionally, I like to drink soda pops too; but when I do, I choose Zevia. Zevia pops are naturally sweetened and are certified by NON-GMO ...

The practice of mono-culture that is prevalent on American farms today is a very dangerous way of producing food. Diversity in plants and animals ensures that some species can adapt to whatever may come their way (i.e. -- climate change). Here's a very good website which explains why diversity is so...

Re: Animal Farming Is An Efficient Use Of Land

I agree with Andy Ba. Too much arable land is being wasted on growing crops for feeding all the livestock that overpopulate the world today. In the US alone, all the cattle raised on factory farms are being fattened up by being fed feed made from cow corn. "Cow corn" is a colloquial term f...

Do you drink a lot of tea or coffee, golem269? If so, do you sweeten them with sugar? I'm asking because a lot of people don't pay close attention to the huge amounts of sugar that they put in their hot beverages. Sugar KILLS! Replace your sugar needs with stevia. Stevia is a 0-calorie sweetener mad...
