Steve jobs died

Postby snog » Oct 6, 2011 10:51 am

It's always tragic when anyone relatively young dies, but I have to agree with this quote lifted from another bbs:

"their sorrows at his death is kind of appalling. Sure, he was somewhat of a revolutionary businessman, but he also actively didn't contribute to charity, he thought being the richest company in the world still wasn't enough to contribute to the rest of the world. He simply contributed to a market system that benefits only the privileged."

I have an iPad 3 g, which I connect to the net with. Christ, it cost me the f$&&: earth. Yet all these eulogies about mr jobs casts him as offering the world technology, but he and apple sure don't give the stuff away...
