Yes. And violent too, sometimes, which is worse. Admiring tigers and dispising humans will never make sense to me.

Vegan versus high protein debate - article

http://www.biblelife.org/vegan_debate.htm

I would really like to know if any of the references the deceased doctor mentions are true. This is all so confusing. Some say this, some say the opposite, what is actually true?

My worry is usually you find the double or the tripe carbohydrates in cereals and beans than you find protein. Even if TVP has more percentage, it still has quite a lot carbohydrates.

I would like to loose weight (fat) and gain muscle mass and it seems hard on a vegan diet. Any tips?

Oh no, I thought Kellogs' was vegan. :(

Where do they extract animal D3 from exactly? What about D1, does it exist?

I get tired of this fight of checking ingredients all the time, makes eating totally a torture. :(

Feeling very discouraged lately.

Proteins and weight loss

Not sure if this should come here, but I am concerned with the percentage of protein comparing to carbohydrates in vegetable foods. What vegetable foods are higher in protein?

quality hairbrushes

Anyone knows the best place to find quality hairbrushes in the UK with no animal bristles? Did anyone company bother to produce artificial britles that are as good as the natural? I would prefer them anti-static, so nylon is not really a good option. Kent has a good selection of synthetic brushes, b...

Hello!

My name is Leonor and I'm a Portuguese currently living in England. I am dietary vegan - sometimes I use the term vegetan but people tend to think it's a typo - for only a year, but adapting fast, as it was always what I wanted to do but didn't have help to do properly before. It seems this forum ha...

It's funny I have seen the same kind of long argument full of biological facts to defend veganism. But it would pick the suitable characteristics, like humans not having teeth like carnivores or their short bowels. If we add up both pro-omnivore and pro-vegan reasons, the logical conclusion would be...

I'm new, so sorry to burst in like this, I'll introduce myself properly soon. This discussion about if you shoul call a breastfed baby vegan made me giggle. :) So cows are not herbivores anymore, they are lacto-vegetarian? It seems the term people are missing is mammal . Babies are mammals. Anyway, ...
